  Will be giving a talk on the "The "Selfie"Journey - Connecting and Engaging Online" this December 7. Social media is a powerful medium to express yourself online. For marketers, a viable medium to generate awareness and relationships with prospects or customers. For a simple individual who shares interesting ideas, discoveries, insights, knowledge, an opportunity to become a recognized influencer. These acts of stepping up and be known online are often referred as becoming a digital influencer.

   But for a lot of people, taking the step in aspiring to become one brings in a lot of worry - whether they will be accepted or not. In this session, I will share tips in expressing your "selfie", building trust, creating a differentiation, attracting the crowd you like (and vice versa), owning a category, use the "rebel" in you, and defining a framework to sustain.
