The Biggest Breastfeeding Event in the Philippines is Back, Hakab Na! 2018!

 Hakab Na! 2018 is the biggest breastfeeding event in the Philippines which celebrates the World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Month in August, hosted by Breastfeeding Pinays, an online forum of over 250,000 breastfeeding families. 
Now on its sixth year, Hakab Na!'s main activity is the simultaneous act of breastfeeding to celebrate and spread awareness on breastfeeding and its benefits to babies, children, mothers, fathers, the whole family, and even to the entire country.

This event is made possible by the strong support of SM Cares, SMX Convention Center Manila, World Vision, and the Department of Health.


For Hakab Na! 2017, 4,775 mothers simultaneously latched their babies in 25 different locations around the country. The Manila event in Araneta Coliseum had the highest number of participants with 1,686 mothers and over 5,000 in attendance. It was also the culminating event of the ASEAN Breastfeeding Forum.

For 2018, we are aiming for more locations and more mother-baby pairs--and we'd love for you to be part of it!
