I-Remit Inc. (PSE:I), the largest Filipino owned Remittance Service Provider, held its Annual Stockholders Meeting (ASM) held last Wednesday, July 13, 2018 at Discovery Suites.
The Chairman of the Board Mr. Banson C. Chua and President Harris D. Jacildo at the helm of the meeting.
The meeting tackled expansion plans at their Annual Stockholders Meeting
Their services are not just limited to remittances to the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) and to their families, but they also accept payments for SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, and Insurance Premiums. They started their services that helps the OFWs pay the house and lot that they had bought directly to the Real Estate companies because they have seen that the number one priority of the OFWs is to have their own house in the Philippines. They have partnered with about a hundred of Real Estate Companies to provide such services.
They have also approved the Audited Financial Statements of 2017 and appointed of R.S. Bernaldo & Associates as External Auditor during the ASM.
IREMIT is also active with their Corporate Social Responsibility the like of granting educational scholarships. They are planning to expand their reach with the use of online platforms.
