DTI CHIEF, MAYOR ISKO LAUNCH MANILA CITY’S 1-DAY BUSINESS PERMITS PROCESSING

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez, one of the administration’s strong advocates of ease of doing business,  recognized City of Manila’s officials and employees led by Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso as an example to other local government units in the country in delivering fast and effective government services to Filipinos.

During the launch of the city’s Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) on 22 July 2019, the trade chief expressed optimism in the ongoing development in Manila, which supports and complements the policies and programs of President Rodrigo Duterte in providing comfortable lives to Filipinos.

City of Manila’s BOSS follows a streamlined system with a 3-step process in one window for business permits. According to Mayor Moreno, the initiative is a gift to the President and a response to the call for ease of doing business and faster processing of permits as well as licenses.
The BOSS follows the implementation of RA 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business Law. In the photo are (L to R): Mayor Isko Moreno, Anti Red Tape Authority Director General Jeremiah Belgica, Sec.
