Pilipinas Angat Lahat. As Go Negosyol celebrate its 15th year anniversary, it successfully launched its first leg of Mentor ME On Wheels this year! PA Joey Concepcion together with Robina Gokongwei-Pe, Faraday Go, Myrna Yao, Bing Limjoco, George Barcelon, Winston Uy, Rey Lapid, among hundreds of mentors and industry leaders joined forces on Jan. 27, to bring free negosyo mentorship to over 1,000 micro, small and aspiring entrepreneurs held at Robinsons Place Manila Midtown Atrium.

DTI PARTNERS WITH MAP TO BOOST LGU COMPETITIVENESS
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) are teaming up to get more local government units (LGUs) to join the Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index (CMCI). The CMCI is an annual ranking of cities and municipalities based on Economic Dynamism, Government Efficiency, Infrastructure, and Resiliency. Through a Memorandum of Understanding signed last 16 January, the MAP will participate in the CMCI annual ranking of LGUs and will conduct regional, provincial, and local seminars and forums with the DTI. Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez (2nd from L:) said that achieving ease of doing business nationwide takes a whole-of-nation approach and thanked the MAP for lending their expertise to the cause. DTI-NDC statement on the Chevron-Batangas Land lease
The rental rates relative to the lease between Batangas Land Company, Inc. (BLCI) and Chevron Philippines, Inc. are governed by the provisions of LOI No. 276, signed by then President Ferdinand E. Marcos. The lease contract, signed in 1975, covering the first 25 years already specified the rental rates for the next 25 years. For the renewal of the lease, BLCI negotiated for a higher lease payment than the rates provided under the LOI and the first lease contract.
DTI launches livelihood assistance program for disaster victims
BATANGAS – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) launched its livelihood assistance program, Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PBG) last 20 January, when President Rodrigo Duterte’s visited the evacuees in Sto. Tomas, Batangas. The program will aid the micro entrepreneurs affected by the Taal Volcano eruption. DTI will soon roll out the program as an assistance package for victims of fire, typhoons, and other calamities nationwide.
Iloilo, NegOcc to have more towns with Negosyo Centers
In order to accelerate the delivery of services to the localities especially the processing of business documents of micro, small, medium enterprises (MSMEs), the DTI VI is establishing additional Negosyo Centers (NCs) in the Provinces of Iloilo and Negros Occidental, this year.
