IRF Sets International Benchmark for Road Safety Auditors

  BRASILIA, Brazil -  The International Road Federation has released a set of minimum qualification guidelines for professionals conducting road safety audits and inspections as part of a global road safety gathering, which opens today in Brasilia.

Speaking at the 2nd Global High Level Conference on Road Safety, IRF Executive Vice President Michael Dreznes noted that design standards alone cannot guarantee road safety in all conditions. "The IRF strongly supports the extended and expanded use of road infrastructure safety management procedures using locally drawn talent trained to the highest standards," Dreznes added.

Turnbull was elected the 29th Prime Minister of Australia on Sept. 15. He was elected to Federal Parliament as the Member for Wentworth in 2004.

Turnbull has held various parliamentary positions including Shadow Treasurer, Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister with responsibility for national water policy and Minister for Environment and Water Resources.

Most recently, Turnbull was Minister for Communications from Sept. 18, 2013 to Sept. 21, 2015. He also became Leader of the Opposition from September 2008 to December 2009 and was later Shadow Minister for Communications and Broadband.

Run For Integrity This December

Dubbed “I RUN for Integrity: I am Part of the Solution,” the event calls on all sectors of society to participate in this important step towards building a culture of integrity in the Philippines. It is expected to bring together 5,000 representatives and runners from government, business, youth, civil society, academe, church, and media towards the common goal of being part of the solution in fighting corruption.

3rd Philippine ESRI GIS Education Conference

 This conference seeks to feature advancements in GIS and remote sensing software, opportunities and challenges in the use of GIS and the best practices in GIS and related researches.
