As a pioneer of music therapy degree courses in the Philippines, we undertake the task to advance public awareness of the benefits of music therapy and increase access to quality music therapy services.
Music Therapy is the use of music aimed to develop potentials and/or restore functions of differently challenged individuals so that they can achieve better intra- and inter-personal integration and, consequently, a better quality of life through prevention, rehabilitation or treatment.
The Conference aims to unravel the meaningful service provided in Music Therapy that has helped and enriched the life of people with special needs. Believing that there is a need to spread the word about music therapy and its availability in the Philippines, we invite professionals, parents, and organizations involved with people with special needs.
