Achieve Financial Peace, Attend Batang Pera-Henyo Conference, This NOv 17, 2012!

I was just fortunate to have attended the Batang Pera-Henyo Conference 2012 press conference today at Vista Center Worldwide Corporatee Center, and learned that kids should learn how to handle their own finances at the earliest age, that they may have a high financial quotient. I was delighted to know the line up of speakers, whom im sure, would be of great inspiration for kids to learn from, in this conference!
At School Talk, we strive to bring real life education to shore up leadership and positive influence. We believe that it is better to train young people to what is essential and critical later on in life. While they are young, such training cannot be delegated or altered.

As we continuously strengthen the financial education in the country, now focus on young people, families, and communities, School Talk’s flagship event “BATANG PERAhenyo 2012” Conference unveils the requisites of personal finance and money management. We are propelled to equip the youth with the help of each parent about a common thing – MONEY.

Indeed, our country is on its track in becoming one of the fastest growing economies in the world. Yes, believe it or not, it’s true! Question is where will you be when it happens? And as life presents itself are we proficient to sustain in the countless money snags that we have to face daily or simply we’re bounded to be greenhorns and stumble from one to another financial distress? Are our children ready to manage their good inheritance or are they just wretched in debts? What can you say about savings, debts, investments, insurance, retirement? Did you prepare for this? Do you prefer to delay it or act on it now because you believe you can do better?
As a start, we all would agree that there is hope in this nation and that it will happen soon if each of us will take part. Which, basically emphasizes what all of us have in equal, TIME… Our children are already leaders of this nation then let’s bring them up in a lifestyle of financial freedom!

This is why we would like to invite you and your child to be part of the “Batang Pera-Henyo Conference” happening this 17th of November at the Vista Center, Upper G/F Worldwide Corporate Center Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City from 9AM – 5PM.

CONFERENCE TOPICS & OBJECTIVES
Habits and Mindsets to become a Pera-Henyo

Developing the habits and mindsets of your child about money will help them make sound financial decisions in the future. Cultivating that discipline is better achieved when started earlier. An attitude over money is like proper manners learned at home and school. Certainly, a Pera Henyo does not short cut things! But how does a Pera Henyo acts on money issues? What self government attitudes and values one must adapt to be experts on handling personal finance? Whatever strategies presented and taught to anyone is barren without proper nourishment and good foundation, and that begins today.

Equip YOU to achieve Financial Peace (personal money management strategies for your child)

Your child’s financial quotient increases with the right technical skills and exposure. Combined with the right amount of strategies, timeline and definite action, we are certain that your young will be at their best.

Young Investors… How? When? Now!

Most parents ask when is the right time, and how do we do it? Our answer… NOW is the right time. The sooner we start the better they become. We have invited young individuals to share their experiences about money management and how true a young person can start his own investments.

Ok sa Outlook! (The Practical Pinoy Henyo Way)

Testimonials:
Youth being asked on Diversification…

“I believe it’s better to put it in a bank, so that if interest rate is small, my money still works for me, so I plan to work part-time, and engage in different kinds of activities that would help me earn more like partnering with someone in business. Even if risks are high today, still I am willing to take them because these will equip me with better resources to reach my goal. To earn my first million at the age of 25, with that I can also help my family.”  ~ Angelica Keith Lim Tan, 18

“P500,000 – savings account with compounding interest
 P100,000 – mutual funds
 P300,000 – invest in business
 P100,000 – government bond”   ~ Matt Reyes

“First, I’d put it in the bank. Then, I’ll think of a business and study more on how to increase my money. I’ve learned enough, I’ll use the money to start the business. And of course, I’ll spend few and save more.  ~ Althea Suerte, 13

“I will be give 1 million, 50% will be allotted for my savings, 25% will be used to help my sisters and brother for their studies, and 25% will be given to my father to help him with his business. My savings can earn interest and eventually be used for my future.”  ~ Abigael Tan, 21
