Suicide Incorporated - A Play to Help Raise Mental Awareness

How can a theater company help raise mental health awareness by staging a play that tackles the theme of depression, suicidal tendencies and suicide itself ?????.

Catch Twin Bill Theater’s eye-opening production aimed to shed light and raise awareness on mental health issues to its audiences in “SUICIDE INCORPORATED”--- a 2010 tragicomedy by brilliant Off- Broadway playwright Andrew Hinderaker.

Imagine a world where a company that edits suicide notes exists. Now imagine being part of that company. SUICIDE INCORPORATED centers around a company that makes money by drafting suicide notes. The business is Hallmark gone Wall Street, turning a profit by bullishly pushing its clients to perform the unspeakable. The CEO speaks, in an advertiser’s tongue, about cornering the market by targeting those suicide victims least likely to leave notes: Men. It turns out all these men are emotional mice when it comes to discussing matters of the self.

SUICIDE INCORPORATED will be directed by Steven Conde.

Six topnotch actors coming from different theater backgrounds have bonded together to essay the pivotal roles in this dark comedy exploring the perils of depression, coping with loss, guilt and redemption,

HANS ECKSTEIN shall play the role of Jason, the newest hire of Legacy Letters, a company that prides itself in doing just that. He has an impressive back catalog of birthday cards

JEREMY DOMINGO plays Scott, the CEO and owner of Legacy Letters.

BIBO REYES plays the role of Tommy, Jason's younger brother who, much like Jason, has some secrets of his own.

MAKO ALONSO and GEORGE SCHULZE shall alternately play the role of Norm, Jason's first client.

CHINO VEGUILLAS shall play the role of Perry, Scott's ever loyal employee and the office kiss-ass.

Produced by Twin Bill Theater, the company aims to produce shows that explore and challenge issues faced by today’s society. As its first official play for their first season, the founders led by theater professionals Joseph and Francis Matheu also noted that their goals are also focused on stirring up the public’s interest to rediscover, love and preserve our historical, cultural and spiritual values through theater; and to make quality, thought-provoking productions more accessible to the non-theater going public.

The artistic team of “Suicide Incoporated” are as follows: Steven Conde (Director), Ed Lacson (Set Design), Jay Pangilinan (Sound Design), and Joseph Matheu (Lighting Design).

The production team includes: Francis Matheu (Production Manager), Leoren Violan (Stage Manager and Graphic Design), Toots Tolentino (Publicity), Juliene Mendoza (Photography), and Kathleen Francisco (Marketing).

Shake it up with #NothingBut great taste!

Last May 21, Blogapalooza found the perfect chocolate milk concoction with Cocio.

Everyone loves the classic drink, but what makes Cocio so different? Read on to find out!

Straightforward and honest, Cocio is all about reality. This cheeky chocolate milk drink was born in 1951 after creators Anker and Ella Pallesen decided that they would make the perfect cocoa drink

After much trial and error, they realized that they only needed three ingredients to achieve their goal: African cocoa, the best milk (sourced from Arla, of course), and high quality sugar. Even as the brand expanded to various other countries and many other variants were released, the simple recipe remains the same.

Known for its dry wit, Cocio isn’t afraid to underscore the fact that all it can guarantee you is an awesome drink. In fact, it says so with its tagline “Nothing but great taste”—a clear defiance of the trend of overpromising on the benefits a drink can give you.

But Cocio also doesn’t position itself as better than anything else. Focusing only on giving a great and natural beverage, Cocio hit Asia for the first time last year in the Philippines and has since garnered countless fans with its Cocio Classicand Cocio Dark flavors.

s the second half of 2016 rolls in, Cocio promises their Filipino fans more exciting products and activities. Cocio will be releasing a brand new take on chocolate milk—the first of its kind in Asia

While going big with ingredients can sound interesting, Cocio use only a handful of natural ingredients without any artificial flavorings or extenders to prove that nutritious isn’t bland, and that less can truly mean more.

Fair Trade Enterprise Launches It's Domestic Line

Quezon City – For more than four (4) decades, Community Crafts Association of the Philippines, Inc. (CCAP) and its subsidiary CCAP Fairtrade for Development, Inc. (CCAP Fairtrade) have assisted marginalized handicraft producers through product design and development and exporting their handicrafts to Fair Trade buyers abroad. This year, CCAP and CCAP Fairtrade launches their local brand of export quality handicrafts called Likhang Atin by CCAP Fairtrade. This is another innovation by one of the longest running social enterprises in the country. “We called it Likhang Atin because we feel very strongly the need to emphasize the great, yet local, skill and talent that went into each and every product that we will be rolling out for our domestic line,” says Voltaire P. Alferez, Executive Director of both companies. “The products are proudly community-based products produced using local knowledge and skill as well as local resources,” he adds. Likhang Atin by CCAP Fairtrade products were crafted following Fair Trade principles which seeks to uphold the dignity of labor, women empowerment, child protection, environmental protection, among others. Fair Trade is an international movement seeking to address oppressive labor practices, unfair compensation and abusive treatment of workers particularly of women and children. CCAP and CCAP Fairtrade are members of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO), the international network of Fair Trade advocates. “We hope that the local market would appreciate and patronize export-quality handicrafts that use environment-friendly materials and processes and at the same time empower women, protect children and give livelihood to the communities that support them,” says Mr. Alferez. He invites everyone to come and visit their domestic store at No. 693 G. Araneta Avenue corner Kaliraya St., Tatalon Quezon City or visit their Facebook page at For more information, kindly contact Mr. Voltaire P. Alferez at or through 09772131436. MA' ROSA Will Be Shown In Local Cinemas Soon

As we all know, the Philippines is filled with great actors and actresses from the local scene, and most of them if not all, is being awarded and recognized by different organizations due to their magnificent acting and portrayal of a given role for a certain show, and Jaclyn Jose is no different. This veteran actress is one of this year's most celebrated celebrity ever to become an awardee in the recently concluded Cannes Movie Festival. The movie Ma' Rosa in which Jaclyn Jose starred, gave her the opportunity to become one of Festival De Cannes Best Actress. This movie is directed by Mr. Brillante Mendoza, and will finally be shown in the Philippines this July 6.

Ma'ROSA  is the story of Rosa, that owns a small community convenient store connected to their home in the slums of Metropolitan Manila. Together with her husband, NESTOR, they use their convenient store as cover-up for selling illegal narcotic, Methamphetamines. Their fate changes one Saturday night when their neighbor BONG-BONG, who works as a fly-by- night parking attendant, begs her to sell him a small pack of Methamphetamine without knowing that it’s a ploy for a pending buy-bust operation leading to Rosa and Nestor’s warrantless arrest by a police team led by Sergeant CASTOR.
